STM Construction Ltd. has a proud tradition in the Ontario construction industry which began in 1927, as Schultz Construction Limited, in 1976 the company ceased operations and was passed on as T.E. Taylor Construction Ltd, formed by partners Tom Taylor and Jim Moyer. The pair began to concentrate its efforts toward design/build construction and project management, as well as maintaining an active role as a competitive general contractor. In 1999, Tom Taylor retired, and once again the business was passed on to a new company, STM Construction Ltd.
The name STM was chosen to reflect the Schultz - Taylor - Moyer history of the company. With President Vincent Geerdinck, STM is continuing construction operations and has a commitment to maintaining its traditions and earning its own reputation for professionalism and first-rate building excellence.
